When you have an open space you can make the most of its potential with some make-up. We must bear in mind that the divisions serve to give character and strength to the volumes of our open space.
Small house? No to many different finishing
There are few rules when you furnish a small house. The base for not making our home seem even smaller is to choose the same finishes and colors regardless of the room. Every change, cut and discontinuity reduces the dimension perceptively. Because it is not a question of actual and real dimensions, but of perception.
Mixing elements, that belong to different styles, is what gives a particular and personal character to the home. It is not always easy to create the right mix, without making a nonsense soup. It is not enough that we like an object or a piece of furniture to make it automatically part of our furniture. I believe that the art of furnishing is a matter of harmony, so YES to mixtures, but with balance!
